Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 2026. By using the HeavyFleetIQ platform, you agree to the following business-to-business (B2B) terms of service.

1. Pricing, Financial & Margin Liability

HeavyFleetIQ provides calculation tools, fuel index syncing, and estimation matrices designed to assist transport operators. All quotes, margins, and financial outputs generated by the platform are estimates only.

  • You, the User, remain entirely responsible for verifying all costs, standing charges, fuel consumption, and final invoice amounts.
  • HeavyFleetIQ accepts zero liability for loss of profit, under-quoted jobs, or margin leaks resulting from user input errors or outdated baseline settings.
  • The baseline rates provided on new accounts are industry estimates and must be calibrated to your specific business using the Fleet Config and Rates & Settings tools.

2. Routing, STGO & Legal Compliance

HeavyFleetIQ integrates with third-party mapping providers (Mapbox) to calculate distance and estimated driving times.

  • Not a Sat-Nav: HeavyFleetIQ is a commercial quoting tool, not a turn-by-turn navigation system for HGV drivers.
  • Road Hazards & Bridges: The platform does not guarantee that generated routes are clear of weight limits, low bridges, or local restrictions. The Transport Manager is strictly responsible for route surveys and verifying compliance.
  • STGO & Police Notifications: While the software calculates STGO Tiers and formats AbHaulier notification drafts, the User remains legally responsible for adhering to DVSA regulations, C&U rules, RHA conditions, and obtaining valid police/council movement orders prior to vehicle dispatch.

3. Data Privacy & Benchmarking

HeavyFleetIQ operates on a secure multi-tenant architecture. Your customer lists, proprietary rates, and quote histories are strictly isolated to your workspace.

  • By logging post-job fuel actuals, you consent to that specific telemetry (Tractor Model, Engine Size, Drag Profile, MPG) being mathematically anonymized and pooled into the Global UK Benchmarking database.
  • This benchmarking data can never be reverse-engineered to identify your company, drivers, or specific routes. It requires a minimum threshold of multiple participating companies before being displayed to the network.

4. Service Availability & Directory

HeavyFleetIQ is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted.

Any third-party pilot car or escort van companies listed in the Industry Directory Hub or Escort Radar are independent contractors. HeavyFleetIQ does not vet, endorse, or assume liability for the actions, insurance, or performance of external escort providers found through the platform.
